Hello everyone!
I hope you are having a great weekend and that you already know which costume you are wearing! (I don't have mine yet..!!)
Tomorrow is Halloween and so I thought of sharing two recipes with all of you. One is a main course, the other one is a dessert. Obviously, let's start from the dessert one...: Puff Pastry Halloween Mummies! Mmmm, it already sounds delicious.

Tomorrow is Halloween and so I thought of sharing two recipes with all of you. One is a main course, the other one is a dessert. Obviously, let's start from the dessert one...: Puff Pastry Halloween Mummies! Mmmm, it already sounds delicious.
Ingredients
1 sheet of puff pastry
Some water
Jam/Fruit/Peanut butter/Chocolate spread
1 egg
Cane sugar/cinnamon (optional)
M&M's/Skull candies
M&M's/Skull candies
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
2. Roll the puff pastry, prick the base gently, you can do so using a fork.
3. Cut 6 rectangles, then choose 3 of them to cut parallel lines, about 1cm apart.

4. Cut parallel lines, about 1cm apart.
5. Fill in the rectangles with jam, chocolate spread, fruit or whatever you like.
6. Paint with water the edges of the 3 remaining rectangles and then place a line at the top and bottom of each rectangle. Use your fingers to press slightly to seal.
7. Then place the remaining lines on top of the rectangle, making it look like a mummy. Remember to leave some space because once it is baked, the mummies eyes will be placed on it.
7. Egg wash the puff pastry using a pastry brush.
8. Sprinkle some cane sugar and/or cinnamon on top and bake it for approximately 20-25 minutes.
9. Once baked, let it cool and so then, add 2 skulls or M&M's per mummy (these will be their eyes! :-o )
10. Bite it, too many times, until there is no mummies left!
Look! They even sleep in tombs, haha!
Second recipes coming soon.
Have a great weekend and an amused Halloween. Stay safe loves!
Hugs and bites!
